PLAYING IT SAFE
Here at Pinewood Builders, we have organized our own emergency response team. The Pinewood Emergency Team (PET) are some of the most well trained professionals in the world, specializing in hazmat, medical, and fire fighting skills.
MEDICAL
Our Medical teams wear green uniforms, and are trained paramedics. Throughout the course of their training, they learn basic procedures, such as CPR and crafting a splint. Later on, they learn how to use our advanced Medical Kits, which can efficiently stabilize a patient until doctors or surgeons arrive.
FIREFIGHTING
Our firefighting department is equipped with the latest technology. As for their uniforms, they tote flame resistant jumpsuits, as well as oxygen tanks to breath through thick smoke. Perhaps their most advanced pieces of technology, is their fire hoses. As opposed to the sluggish deployment of traditional hoses, our compact ones can be quickly drawn by a single member. Furthermore, hydrants of any sort are not needed, as each of our crew members carry their own reservoir of repellent.
HAZMAT
One of our most specialized teams, the PET Hazmat division is responsible for keeping all chemical materials contained. Their main equipment consists of a hazmat suit, a full body protective suit equipped with air tanks, airtight stitching, and lights to distinguish their presence. They are seen most often in the Computer Core, completing pipe maintenance and draining any flooded areas.
WE GET AROUND
Used by all of our divisions, is a Multipurpose Emergency Response Truck (MERT). This 8 seat vehicle is exclusively manufactured by Pinewood Builders, seeing most of it's use in our Computer Core. MERT has a high ground clearance to quickly scale obstacles, as well as bright headlights to illuminate darkented passageways.
STAYING SHARP
Most our our divisions learn and grown, at the PET Private Multipurpose Facility (PMF). Like other training facilities, the PET PMF features obstacle courses and simulations, to train it's occupants. In addition, training courses are occasionally hosted with more than one division, in order to advance tandem operations.
